Terry towelling mattress protectors offer many benefits over a simple wipe down plastic mattress protector. The terry towelling adds a comfort layer to the protector but more importantly provides an absorbent layer. This soaks up any moisture throughout the surface and actually wicks it away from your body during the night this allows it to then evaporate thus drying out much faster than if the the terry towelling wasn't there.
Terry towelling mattress protectors are therefore ideal for most situations whether they are there to protect your mattress from perspiration stains or whether you need to provide protection from other bodily fluids and need incontinence bed protection. The thicker the towelling the more absorbent it is.
Snugnights offer three different terry towelling mattress protectors, our entry level 'Care' protector with a polyester/cotton terry upper surface, our 'Allergon' range with its thicker cotton terry upper or 'Medifix' with added protection to the sides of the mattress. All three of these ranges have a waterproof underside bonded to the terry towelling and can be machine washed and tumble dried if required.
