This is fitted to the upper surface of a mattress that could or does have bed bugs or other unwelcome creatures living within it. It is effective against Bed Bugs, fleas, dust mites, silverfish, cockroaches, spiders etc.
 
The fine mesh sheet has been treated with Deltamethrin which kills on contact and also acts as an insect repellent. Deltamethrin is suitable for this use as it does not have any noticeable smell to disturb your sleep, it can also be washed at 40c up to 40 times without affecting the insecticide. The mesh itself has 400 holes per square inch providing protection against the smallest of bugs. 
 
This item is perfect for travellers or for those sleeping in mattresses of uncertain cleanliness e.g low cost rented student accomodation, or budget hotels and hostels.
 
The small drawstring carry bag measures only 17cm tall and 6cm in diameter and contains a single mesh sheet and one small pillow cover. Use these under the pillowcase and bottom sheet.
