It makes sense to protect your investment as well as you possibly can without compromising the comfort that you chose it for in the first place. Once your mattress is marked or stained then there is virtually nothing you can do about it, those marks will be there until you replace it with another one. The upper surface is manufactured from Tencel, a revolutionary new fibre that offers a unique combination of the most desirable features for comfort, it is made from natural fibres and is as fine and as smooth as silk, as strong as polyester. as cool as linen, as warm as wool and much more absorbent than cotton.
The fibre breathes with the body, rapidly absorbing moisture and then releasing it into the atmosphere, preserving your body's heat levels.
On the reverse side is a thin 'intelligent membrane' constructed from the latest generation of waterproof, breathable films. It acts in the same way as human skin. and is laminated to the upper surface using the new 'Perlam' process. This film protects your mattress from any form of moisture and liquid but also forms an effective barrier against the development of bacteria and dust mites within your mattress, these are the principal causes of asthma, eczema and hay fever. This membrane is virtually undetectable in use.
This waterproof fitted sheet can be machine washed at high temperatures and even tumble dried at up to 70c for ease of use.
The end result is a very fine, comfortable fitted sheet that protects you and your mattress without compromising the comfort of your mattress, particularly beneficial to users of memory foam mattresses because it does not affect the benefits of memory foam, but equally suited to any kind of mattress.
