The Brinkhaus Sapphire Hungarian Goose Down duvet surely must be the finest duvet currently available. It is filled with New White Superior Goose Down from Brinkhaus' own farms in Hungary. The geese are bred especially for their down, unlike most Hungarian Down which is a by-product of the food industry. Because of this the down is only harvested at one particular time in the year when the geese have developed their 'winter coat'. This ensures that this duvet is exceptionally light but also incredibly warm. The duvet is rated at 11.0 tog which is ideal for today's modern centrally heated homes.
It is constructed in a special contemporary style for those with the highest standards of sleeping comfort. The intricate hand made construction of square boxes in the centre using the finest quality batiste ( a fine sheer cotton) holds the prime Hungarian down in position in the most important zone of the duvet. The sumptuous rim, divided at strategic points and filled to perfection, gives superb drape around the body for luxurious warmth.
