A beautiful soft blanket manufactured from bamboo fibre, it is so soft and gentle that it is just right for a newborn baby. Bamboo is a very special new fabric that handles like silk but performs like cotton. It is an environmentally sustainable fibre which is organically grown and the manufacturing process contains no chemical additives. Totally pure and natural - just like a newborn's skin.

Bamboo is 100% natural and 100% sustainable, which are two important factors in today's climate where concern for the environment and chemical free fabrics is paramount.
Bamboo is the fastest growing plant in the world; it can grow to full height in 3 months and be fully mature in 3 to 4 years. This is due to its tremendous capacity to absorb water and as a fabric it retains this property, in fact bamboo is 3 to 4 times more absorbent than cotton. Bamboo is also known to improve the soil quality.
Bamboo is grown without the use of pesticides and fertilizers s it is not attacked by pests due to its natural antibacterial properties.
 
Bamboo under the microscope has a round cross section making it incredibly soft and beautifully smooth next to the skin.
 
Bamboo is naturally breathable and highly absorbent so any moisture trapped between the fabric an the skin can wick away easily making bamboo fabric feel dry and comfortable next to the skin in both hot and cold weather conditions.
 
In the heat bamboo fabric feels cool to the touch but also feels very warm in cold weather.
 
Bamboo is naturally antibacterial, antistatic and antifungal therefore it is the natural choice for sensitive allergy prone skin.
