What are they?
 
Beautifully soft to the touch these 400 thread count Egyptian combed cotton fitted sheets are the last word in luxury. With long staple fibres and an embroidered hem, this cotton fabric really is the last word in bedroom style and sensuality.
 
Why Egyptian Cotton?
 
Cotton is a natural fibre. The seeds from the cotton plant ripen revealing a mass of fine fibres. These fibres are picked, combed and spun into yarn which is then woven in to cloth. Egyptian cotton is deemed to be the the highest quality and the softest feeling cotton available. The yarn is then combed which makes it even finer, more lustrous and durable. This fineness then allows it to be woven at an incredible 400 threads per square inch. The higher the thread count per square inch the softer the fabric is to the touch. The majority of Egyptian cotton sheets tend to have 200 threads or less per square inch.
