4ft Mattress Protector

Modern homes often have smaller bedrooms than their older counterparts and for this reason the 4ft bed has become more popular. It’s not the only reason people have them, its just one reason. Another might be that the individual just wants a larger bed than a single but doesn’t need a double.
The 4ft bed is larger than a single but smaller than a double, it is sometimes referred to as a three quarter size or as a small double. They all measure 4 ft from side to side and 6 ft 6 inches in length.
Finding bedding for this size can be difficult but Snugnights has a range of items specially designed and manufactured to suit a 4ft matress.
We have two 4ft mattress protectors available, one is a terry towelling waterproof fitted sheet style, the other is also a fitted sheet style but in a non waterproof quilted style.
The terry towelling 4ft mattress protector is from our Allergon range, Allergon is our most popular mattress protector and is our own branded product. The upper surface is a soft cotton terry towelling, this has a breathable polyurethane waterproof membrane on the underside. This means that it provides waterproof protection for your mattress yet it is virtually undetectable in use and won’t make you hot or uncomfortable. It can be machine washed and tumble dried. Allergon as its name suggests is also dust mite proof and is suitable for use by allergy sufferers. This is a probably the best mattress protector currently available and is suitable for every bed in every home.

The quilted 4ft mattress protector is the same size but consists of a quilted upper surface designed to add comfort and protection from wear and tear. It has elasticated sides and fits like a fitted sheet.
