Every cot mattress needs a cot mattress protector. Without one the upper surface of the mattress can become marked and stained very quickly.
 
Even if your baby's cot mattress can be wiped clean, is that really enough. There is a probability that a mattress that has become wet through either nappy leakage, saliva, vomit or just sweat will fairly soon be home to a wide variety of bacteria, and right next to the little ones nose and mouth.
 
It is quite difficult to be sure that you have removed all of these just by wiping the mattress down, without resorting to chemicals (and you dont really want to do that either). It is so simple and easy just to remove this protector and put in the washing machine, dirt, bacteria and even dust mites are removed easily and completely, just tumble dry and put back on the mattress.
 
The absorbent 100% cotton terry upper surface is laminated to a very lightweight polyurethane membrane, not only is this completely waterproof it is also 100% dust mite proof.  The result provides protection for the cot mattress from nappy accidents and also protects your little one from dust mites and bacteria that may be within the mattress.
 
This product has been awarded the european `Oeko-tex` Standard 100 `products suitable for babies`. The protector is easy to fit with an elasticated apron and can be machine washed. Machine washable and can be tumble dried.
 
Fits a  64 x 127 cm cot mattress just like a fitted sheet with elasticated sides. The waterproof backing is both silent and breathable in use so baby won't hear it and wont become hot and sweaty, in fact your precious little one wont even know its there.
