Up to 10% of the weight of a 2 year old pillow can be made up of dust mites and their waste products. You only have to look at an unprotected pillow to see why a pillow protector is a neccesity for us all. This zipped pillow protector fits over your pillow with a normal pillowcase over it. Protects your pillow from perspiration and saliva stains and is a barrier between you and the dust mite. Breathable, cool and noise free.'Allergon' Zipped waterproof pillow protector. "The best waterproof pillow protector around!!! We love them, my kids love them, my mum loves them, need I say more? Okay, I will. :o) They are sooooo quiet, no rusling under your ear when trying to sleep and they zip up so no working their way off the pillow in the middle of the night. Great for asthmatics too."
