A memory foam mattress provides many benefits over a traditional sprung mattress.

Comfort & Support - A traditional sprung mattress supports your body weight using a series of metal springs within the mattress. These by their very nature can provide pressure points at the spring. A memory foam mattress has no springs, Your body weight is evenly spread across the mattress eliminating these pressure points. The mattress moulds to the unique shape of your body providing unsurpassed levels of comfort. If you are not comfortable in bed then you cannot sleep properly which in its own right can lead to other health issues.

Allergy Issues - A traditional sprung mattress by its design accumulates dust and dust mites within. These can then be expelled at night as you turn over, potentially causing irritation to the airways and eyes to those sensitive to dust mites and their waste products. The cell structure of memory foam does not allow dust to penetrate the mattress, therefore there isnt the dust content to expel whulst you are sleeping.

Convenience - Because a memory foam mattress does not contain springs it can be compressed in to a relatively small size by the manufacturer. This means that they can be transported easily in a standard car.

How to choose a memory foam mattress.

When choosing a memory foam mattress, the first thing to do is to make sure that it really is memory foam. If the price seems too good to be true then the chances are thats its just foam and not memory foam. If in the description it does not say memory foam or visco elastic foam then it is probably just a plain standard polyurethane foam mattress without the benefits gained from memory foam.

A true memory foam mattress consists of an upper layer of true memory foam bonded to a lower support layer. Without this support layer the memory foam would be unable to support you.

Our Ultimate memory foam mattress has an upper layer of true visco elastic memory foam that reacts to your body temperature and moulds to your contours and evenly distributes your weight and minimises pressure points on your hips and shoulders thus aiding a better, more comfortable nights sleep.

The memory foam layer is bonded to a superior density supportive foam base. The entire mattress is then encased in a removable, machine washable, zip fastening cover manufactured from a sanitised cotton.

This mattress is suitable for all bed bases from slatted to divan style and is delivered to you vacuum packed for ease of positioning in the bedroom. Simply unpack in situ and allow the foam to regain its natural position and shape.

The viscolux memory foam mattress aids circulation and by its nature is dust mite resistant.

The Ultimate Memory Foam Mattress is available in three versions and 5 sizes. The reason for the three versions is that each one is suitable for a different user weight. This ensures that your body weight is correctly supported during the night.
